Lease Procedure
|
"Tanktrader" has an extensive fleet of ISO tankcontainers
which are leased world wide. The fleet consists of a variety
of containers ranging from chemical tanks, food tanks, fuel tanks and bitumen tanks.
LEASE PROCEDURE
When you request a lease inquiry we ask you to provide us with the UN number of your product or if you do not know this we will assist you determining it. With this information we can find a suitable tank for you.
In general there are 3 types of tanks.
IMO 1 : or the T11 tank container is the most commenly used tank which is suitable for hazardous liquids.
Often these tanks are equipped with insulation and a steam heating system and range in capacity from 14.500 ltr until 26.000 ltr.
IMO 2 : because of the lower pressure limit these tanks are suitable for less hazardous liquids and foodstuff products.
IMO 5 : (T50) these tanks are used to transport or store hazardous gasses.
ON-HIRE / OFF-HIRE REPORT
Once we determined your tank type, the length of the contract and the amount of tanks there will be an on-hire procedure by an indepent survey company which records the state of the unit when it leaves our depot. At the end of the lease period an off-hire report will record the state of the tank when it returns in our depot.
